Special for Giving Tuesday, vitruvi has partnered with the body: a home for love on a limited-edition Home Sweater that is sure to become your new winter staple.
Designed by the body’s founder Deun Ivory and produced by ethical clothing company Kotn, the sweater features an original illustration by Ivory along with the words “My body, my home, my sanctuary.” It’s a testament to our shared vision of helping people discover that feeling of home—both in their bodies and their spaces.
“It’s always been my dream to design clothing that was visually poetic, offering the perfect balance of minimal aesthetics and restorative affirmations that remind us of our power,” says Ivory. “Not only does it allow people to clothe themselves with love, but it creates space for our vision to reach more people.”
We are donating 100 per cent of the Home Sweater’s sales to the body (hint: wear it while diffusing Ceremony Essential Oil Blend for true bliss). The non-profit organization is shifting the narrative around how Black women heal from sexual trauma, taking the focus away from pain and shame and instead placing it on wellness, community, beauty, and joy.
